A big part of our work is in talking to the local community about climate change. We hold street and market stalls, put on events such as forums and film nights and participate in a number of festivals in the Blue Mountains.
Katoomba Area Climate Action Now members regularly march in the Katoomba Street parade at the Winter Magic Festival and put on sustainable living and campaign stalls at both festivals and markets.
We also participated in the Footbeat Festival and took part in the Festival photograph for the global 350.org campaign.
